For those of you who've been living under a rock the last month or so, Bremerton West's annual year-end extravaganza and banquet is upon us this week, as Sargeque V is scheduled for 1 PM this Saturday, May 29th. The Sargeque has been noted to not only kick off Memorial Day celebrations in Shawnee, Kansas, as well as the return of warmer weather, but has notoriously been a springboard for Bremerton's offseason roster moves.
The more things change, the more things stay the same. This much has been released to the public: yes, there WILL be Michelob Golden at the party. Bremerton West brass is scheduled to unveil a new website. Whether or not this will be up and running has been open to speculation. Just announced today is the special V.I.P. Experience that will get you in before the general public and a spot in the screening room to watch the Yankees - Indians game at noon.
And now, this just in ... Bremerton West is set to unveil its inaugural Hall of Fame member, and all three finalists have been selected! Up for induction this year are Steve Kullberg, Mark DeBaun, and David Plous.
"We're excited about the B. West Hall of Fame announcement," team chaplain Zul said via Skype on Monday afternoon. "This is the first step towards a complete Bremerton West multimedia experience."
Without any elaboration, one can only guess the implications of Zul's comments. Sargeque V, brought to you by Bremerton West, is shaping up to be quite an event!
